アルバムのタイトルチューン『海上の路』は、南洋へと大海原に繰り出してゆく大航海時代の交易船の姿をイメージしたインストナンバー。
伝統的な“クロンチョン・アスリ”のスタイルを活かし、シンプルかつ流麗に繰り広げる短編インストナンバー。
ポルトガルから伝わったインドネシアの小型弦楽器、二つのクロンチョン・ギター“チュッ(cuk)”“チャッ(cak)”、ピチカートで刻むユニークな３弦チェロ、ギター、ヴァイオリン、ヴィオラといったクロンチョン楽器と、沖縄の三線由来の新たな楽器“四線”や軽やかな旋律を奏でる篠笛の響きを結び付け、爽快なサウンドを繰り広げます。

The title tune of this album TENGGARA no SORA "Kaijyo no michi -The way of the sea-".
We compose this instrumental short piece with image of Indonesian popular music "keroncong".
We play it by 3 strings cello, violin, viola, pipe, guitar and Indonesian ukulele called cuk and cak with traditional "keroncong asli" style.
To crossover the Japanese-Okinawan music culture, we also use the Okinawan new music instrument "yonshin" which is developed from traditional sanshin.
