【ヒトツカタ：　くまの】

ヒトツカタ・アートの題名は、「ク・マ・ノ」。

今は帰ることのできない、ふるさとに想いを馳せて・・・

険しい山々と海に囲まれた秘境の地。

太古の昔から疲れ果てて辿り着いた旅人を分け隔てなく受け入れてきた癒しの地。 自然信仰が息づき、人々が神々に見守られながら、穏やかな時の流れの中で自分らしく生きられる場所。 

それが熊野です。

熊野に生を受け、若い頃一度は飛び出したその地に、再び住むことができる事に感謝。

英文のstoryです。

Nestled between the steep mountains and a vast ocean, lies a place of healing which has since the beginning of time welcomed weary travelers from the far distances of Japan. It's a place where the gentle Gods of nature watched over the people as they lived in relationship to the Earth, their community and themselves. This place is my hometown of Kumano.
I was born and raised in this land of rich history. Having left at a young age, I return to Kumano with gratitude and appreciation.
This art piece, "Kumano" pays homage to my hometown. It's based on the ancient language of Japan, Katakamuna which combines characters with sound and meaning.  Katakamuna  is said to have originated during the Paleolithic Period in Japan.
