「オッペンハイマー」でアカデミー賞主演男優賞を受賞したキリアン・マーフィ主演のドラマ「ピーキー・ブラインダーズ」を映画化する新作に、レベッカ・ファーガソン（「デューン　砂の惑星 PART2」「ミッション：インポッシブル　デッドレコニング PART ONE」）が出演することがわかった。

2022年にシーズン6で完結したクライムドラマ「ピーキー・ブラインダーズ」は、1890年代から20世紀初頭にかけてイギリスの都市バーミンガムに実在したギャンググループを題材に、トーマス（マーフィ）を中心としたシェルビー家が成り上がっていくさまを描いた。英BBCで2013年に放送を開始し、イギリス国外ではNetflixで配信された。
