LIFE IN SINGAPORE

Good morning. It's winter in Tokyo, but it's always a warm morning here. 🌞
I started working in Singapore last week. I've been here for a half month already but honestly the best country so far! This country has full of beautiful people with smiles, giving love and care to each other among various races ♡
Many people speak English and Chinese quite well, and I have never had trouble communicating with people here:) Some people got a Singaporean accent sometimes though! I am getting used to it:)

Transportation systems here are fantastic. Trains and buses are convenient and affordable, and If you are in a hurry, you can take a taxi for around 1000 yen to 1500 yen (US$8-12) and get anywhere so quickly, it's a small country!

The food is cheap and delicious if you know the right places to eat. Singapore has many wealthy people, so if you don't know where to go and accidentally walk into expensive homes, it's like EXPENSIVE.

You can easily access all kinds of international food from various countries. Japanese cuisine is no exception, and I would even think Japanese food is Singapore's favorite. You don't need to worry about finding Japanese restaurants at all. It's everywhere. They have a lot of Don don donki 🐧 and Daiso as well!!

Technology is advanced here. Changi airport is fully automatized and super-efficient. You will find surveillance robots and high-tech designs in many places such as shopping malls :)
Most importantly, commuting! ! ! (Although it depends on the time and location), in my case.
The train is not crowded!!!!! I can take a seat in the morning!!!
I commute to work stress-free every morning!!
I can cry inside by remembering schooling by train in Tokyo. It was a pain in the a**

How I got a job in Singapore as a new graduate
People often ask me, "How did you find a job abroad as a new graduate?"
In my case, nothing special, but if I would give someone any little advice, I made my LinkedIn profile quite interesting and informative!
(LinkedIn is a well-known work-related social media platform all over the world. Register your profile and get scouts from companies and agents who are interested in you!)
In my case, I have listed a lot of exciting careers, my ability to speak English and Chinese (beginner though), and my overseas experiences. I was particularly interested in management positions, so I described the time when I took strong leadership and what I have learned through those experiences. I mentioned it all precisely.
In my case, I did all the interviews by video call, so I didn't have to go abroad for the meetings, not at all!

If you are considering working overseas, I suggest that you make your profile on LinkedIn more and more enjoyable!

I hope you found this blog interesting :)
