香（かおり・Fragrance）

『宇宙の曲』より

宇宙飛行士が帰還した時、最初に実感すること。
それはハッチを開けた時に広がる地球の香りだという。
花の香り、土の匂い、浜の匂い、故郷の匂い…。
誰もがもつあたたかい香りの記憶。
それは地球を国籍とする、この星の住人である証し。

～ うちゅうのきょく～

かおり

うちゅうひこうしがきかんしたとき、さいしょにじっかんすること。
それははっちをあけたときにひろがるちきゅうのかおりだという。
はなのかおり、つちのにおい、はまのにおい、こきょうのにおい…。
だれもがもつあたたかいかおりのきおく。
それはちきゅうをこくせきとする、このほしのじゅうにんであるあかし。

Fragrance

What do astronauts sense the moment they return
from outer space?
It is the odor of the Earth that they smell
as open the hatches.
The smell of the flowers, of the land,
of the beaches , of their homelands.
Everyone has a memory of a heartwarming smell.
It is the identity of people
who reside on our planet and
whose nationality is the Earth.
