先月から動いていたオンライン体験ツアーが、ついに今日初稼働しました！！！　アメリカはサンフランシスコとニューヨーク、メキシコシティ、ドミニカ共和国、ドイツのミュンヘン、エクアドルのキト、そして日本は東京から！！　世界に向けてそれぞれのLGBTQsシーンをzoom越しにプレゼンするオンライン体験ツアーです。主にアメリカからのゲストが多いですが、初回はコロンビアからのゲストも参加しました。収益はすべてNPO団体「OutRight Action International」に寄付するチャリティ企画です。なぜか私のプロフィール写真がリジェクトされてしまったので、まだ体験ページに私はいませんが…

追記※　この記事を上げた直後、新しく登録した写真が公開されました。ファーストビューに出てこないのが残念ではありますが、自分の写真が追加されて少し安心しました。

Airbnbの社員がサイト上で誰に声をかけようかと探していた時、日本からは私に白羽の矢が立ちました。LGBTQs界隈でオンライン体験ツアーの登録を申請しているのが、日本だけでなくアジアでは私一人だったそうです。とはいえ、私個人の体験はまだ申請中で登録されていないので、このコラボ体験上で宣伝できないのが悔やまれますが、社員の目に留まったと言うことはおそらくそのうち審査が通るはず…！！！！！🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

全員時間軸がバラバラなので、中庸を取ろうとすると私だけ朝10時スタートになり、みんなが夜の時間にお酒を飲みながら参加している中、一人カフェオレで一生懸命目を覚ましながらの参加という、ハイパー夜型インフィニティの私にはキツいものがありますが… 😂 まだロックダウン下にある国の人や、COVID-19に罹患してしまった友人が2日前に亡くなってしまった人も参加していて、COVID-19の影響で世界が変わってしまったことを実感しながら、これからの新しいツアーガイディングの形を作り上げていく重要性を感じました。

私が参加するのは毎週金曜日10:00（日本時間）、ホストが4人、ゲストの参加可能最大人数は10人です。今回はゲストが4人参加しましたが、実はゲストは質問がない限り特に喋る必要がないので、英会話を練習したい人にもうってつけだと思います！　デバイスひとつとwi-fiがあれば、簡単に国境を越えた異文化交流ができるのが、オンライン体験ツアーの強みですね。

The online experience, which I am joining as one of the hosts, has finally been released!!

Global LGBTQ Bar Hop Across Four Cities

From San Francisco and NYC the US, Mexico City, Dominican Republic, Munich Germany, Quito Ecuador, AND TOKYO JAPAN!!! Presenting all about each LGBTQs scene to the world. This is a charity experience so all the profit goes to OutRight Action International (https://outrightinternational.org/). For some reason my profile photo was rejected so I’m not on the experience page yet, but hopefully the next photo would be accepted.

So one of the reasons why I decided to attend to this opportunity is that the main host Jonny found me on Airbnb while researching who he wants to work with for this charity. Apparently, on Airbnb, I am the ONLY person who submitted LGBTQs online experience personally in not even only in Japan, but a whole wide Asian area. (He knows this because he works at Airbnb during the day.) Although my personal online experience hasn’t been approved yet, I am pretty hopeful that it will be soon, since, you know, that was the “call” Jonny found me. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Because of the time difference, while all the other hosts and guests are chilling with their original cocktails and red wine in nice evening, for me it’s 10am trying to wake myself up with a cup of Cafe con leche aka coffee with milk lol You know, I am a super deep night person and 10am is a suffering hahaha 😂 Anyways… some are still in the midst of lock down, some lost a friend 2 days ago because of COVID-19. They really made me feel that the world is changing, and thought, this is the time to create a different style of tour guiding.

The time slot which I’m attending is on Thursdays 18:00 (PDT) with 4 hosts including me, the maximum guests of 10. There was 4 guests on the first session and they are active and inclusive! But if you’re shy, you can have your video turned off, and you don’t have to be all talkative. It’s a chilled laid back experience.

With a device and wi-fi, we can all connect no matter where we are. That’s the best thing about online experiences!!!
