220x273mm 水彩色鉛筆、アクリル、漆喰、ペン、オイルパステル、キャンバス acrylic, plaster, watercolor pencil, oil pastel, pen on canvas … この夏、天草の友人宅にお邪魔していた時に、家の目の前が海で、寝る時も波の音に揺られて眠る、最高の環境でした。 お隣に、まさしさんという漁師を長年やっていらっしゃるおじいちゃんがいて、海が満ちたタイミングで、その方に連れられて、珊瑚や貝を見に海に入ったりもしました。 まさしさんは、「人にあげるためだ」と畑もやられていて、何度もゴーヤやナスなど、採れたての新鮮な野菜をいただきました。 私が絵を描いていると、窓の外から「ナス人間を描け」などと言ってきて、いつも明るいエネルギーをいただいていました。 そんな天草での日常から生まれた作品です。 そこでは、朗らかな愛のエネルギーが、心地よく、循環していました。 水彩色鉛筆、オイルパステル、漆喰、アクリル、ペンなどを、遊び心と共に使用しています。 … This summer, I stayed at my friends’ house in Amakusa, Kumamoto. The house was located right in front of the ocean and the sound of waves would put me to sleep every night. There was an old fisherman living right next door, who would come every day and gave us some vegetables that he grew. He told us that he was growing vegetables so he could give them to others. He took me swimming in the ocean and showed me coral reefs and sea shells when the tide was high. He would peek on the painting I was working on and would comment that it needed an “eggplant man”. This piece was born through such daily life spent in Amakusa. There, the warm, bright energies of love was circulating in every details of every moment. Different mediums such as acrylic, plaster, watercolor pencil and pen were applied with a playful heart on canvas.
