「現在23歳で、今年の4月に入籍するよ。今、子どもは2人いる」。そう語るのはフィリピン人の23歳の男性英語講師。奥さんは24歳。付き合ってから５年。今年の9月13日で付き合って丸5年になるのだとか。もともと英語が得意じゃなかったという彼はどのように英語を学び、人気英語講師になったのでしょうか。彼が得意とするカランメソッドのレッスンについても、話を聞いてみました。英語学習者必見のコラムです。

英語は独学。日本に行って働きたい

現在、英語講師として働いている彼は、元々は英語が得意じゃなかったといいます。

ジョークを交えながらカランレッスン。楽しければ続けられる

カランを受ける生徒、講師側からはどう見えているの？
