ピアニストの指裁き (The Pianist's Fingerings)

ピアノを長年やっているからか、パソコンのブラインドタッチが鬼のように高速で、正確にできるのがすごいよね、とよく言われます。

過去を思い返せば、目をつむって真っ暗な部屋で、曲が弾けるまで練習していました。エチュードなんか、それはもう完璧に鍵盤の上を動かせるまでに、相当の苦労があったものです。

わたしはスマートフォンよりもパソコン作業が好きなタイプなので、得てよかったスキルだなと、自分に感謝しています。

The Pianist's Fingerings
Perhaps it's because I've been playing the piano for so many years, but I'm often told that it's amazing that I can blind touch a computer with uncanny speed and accuracy. In the past, I used to practice in a dark room with my eyes closed until I could play a tune. For example, for an etude, it took a lot of effort to get the keys to move perfectly on the keyboard. I prefer to work on a computer rather than a smart phone, so I am grateful to my body for the skills I have acquired.
