One of Ichito's summer vacation assignments is to write a presentation on a work of art, so we went to the art library of the Museum of Modern Art Kamakura and Hayama to research materials for this assignment.

We were able to research together a complete collections of art works from around the world and Japan, and we were also able to view the current exhibition of contemporary art.

We also went for a short walk on Isshiki Beach, which is located right next to the museum, and had a very meaningful time, getting a different stimulation and learning experience than usual.

Incidentally, the reason I was able to think about visiting a museum library like this and actually go there was because Kazuhiro introduced me to a very nice Youtube channel about Western art a few months ago, and through watching many videos on the channel, my awareness of art and how high the barriers to art are have changed. I am grateful to Kazuhiro again.


Una de las tareas de las vacaciones de verano de Ichito es escribir una presentación sobre una obra de arte, así que fuimos a la biblioteca de arte del Museo de Arte Moderno de Kamakura y Hayama para investigar materiales para esta tarea.

Pudimos investigar juntos una colección completa de obras de arte de todo el mundo y de Japón, y también pudimos ver la exposición actual de arte contemporáneo.

También dimos un pequeño paseo por la playa de Isshiki, que se encuentra justo al lado del museo, y pasamos un rato muy significativo, obteniendo un estímulo y una experiencia de aprendizaje diferentes a los habituales.

Por cierto, la razón por la que pude pensar en visitar una biblioteca de museo como ésta e ir allí de verdad fue porque Kazuhiro me presentó un canal de Youtube muy bonito sobre arte occidental hace unos meses, y al ver muchos vídeos del canal, mi conciencia sobre el arte y lo altas que son las barreras al arte han cambiado. Se lo agradezco de nuevo a Kazuhiro.
