hodachrome/山本 穂高
写真家／ロモグラファー。フィルムカメラのみを使用して「多重露光」(重ね撮り)という手法をメインに作品を制作する。デジタル加工や後処理は一切せず、写真フィルムの種類や現像方法・多種多様なテクニックを織り交ぜながらフィルムの可能性の限界に挑戦する。これまで考案したテクニックは「フィルム両面露光(EBS)」、「フィルムスープ」、「ゴーストショット」、「ウィングショット」など多数に及び、海外の写真雑誌等で取り上げられ大きな反響を呼ぶ。国内外での個展多数開催。現在、展示活動や写真教室・撮影ワークショップ・記事の執筆等幅広く活動し、フィルム文化の復興とさらなる飛躍を目指し走り回る日々を送る。

【profile】
Hodaka “Hodachrome” Yamamoto is a freelance photographer and lomographer. Born in Gifu, Japan in 1974, Hodaka built has up many years’ worth of experience as a photographer, lab-operator and graphic designer, before starting to freelance as Hodachrome. He first came into contact with the Lomo LC-A (the signature “toy” camera) in 2007, and soon became obsessed with the infinite and magical possibilities of this small 35mm film camera. Not only does he experiment with multiple exposures (all done in camera), and various types of film, including using his own homemade redscale, and cross-processing slide film, Hodachrome also specialises in other experimental techniques such as exposing both sides of the film (EBS). Having built up a worldwide following for his sublime images, he also teaches his techniques to others through a photography school and workshop, and sells his own photo books and prints.
