■Abstract | セッション概要
With the success of the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the expectation of the 2020 Olympics, Japan had high hopes for the sports industry. Unfortunately, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have been felt in every sector, especially the sports industry. Fortunately, it gave rise to new opportunities that have allowed athletes, teams, and brands to overcome their geographic constraints and start to build a truly global sports environment. During this session, you will learn about the current state of sports and how brands are utilizing athletes and streamed events to capture new audiences, communicate directly with target audiences, and transition to an increasingly virtual world.

COVID-19によってスポーツ業界は大きな打撃を受けているが、一方でアスリート、チーム、そして企業にとっては地理的な障壁がなくなり、真のグローバルスポーツ環境が整い始めている。スポーツ業界の現在地、そして企業がいかにアスリートの価値を活用しているのか、いかにオンラインでのイベントでターゲットに直接リーチし、新規のファン獲得に繋げているのか。急速に進むデジタル化の流れについて、多数の大物プロアスリートをクライアントに抱えるエージェンシーの面々が論じる。
