もういちど秋を prologue
目をつむればいつも 澄んだ空を渡ってくる風と 同じやさしさに包まれて 私たちは佇んでいる 永遠にあの日の秋の中に 『もういちど秋を』 武田多恵子 『もういちど秋を』は、武田多恵子の3つの詩集「麦の耳」（1986年）「流布」（1993年）「蜜月」（2013年）から20編の詩を抜粋し、1年の季節を巡るように5つのユニットに仕分け、「もういちど秋を」という序章を加えて再構成された映像詩である。武田の詩に、サックス奏者かみむら泰一が音楽、中根秀夫が映像を担当し1年間をかけて制作された。 ひとつの詩はひとつの時間を孕みながら、他のもうひとつの詩とその時間に接続する。詩の中の時間はそれぞれの記憶を持ち、その記憶はひとつの詩という枠を超え、過去とも未来とも自由に接続することが出来る。ひとりの作者の記憶はもうひとりの者の記憶へと接続され、その記憶はさらにまたひとりの別の記憶とつなぎ合わされる。そのようにして、記憶は少しづつそのポジションを変えながら私たちの空間を拡張し、またそれを満たしていく。 このプロローグのみ詩は字幕で示されている。冬の早朝、日の出直前の海で。 As long as you keep your eyes closed, The wind that crosses the clear sky, Wrapped in the same tenderness. We are standing by Forever in the autumn of that day. try to remember / Taeko Takeda "Try to remember" is a video project by Taeko Takeda (words), Taiichi Kamimura (saxophone) and Hideo Nakane (video). Takeda selected 20 poems from her collections of poetries, and then, sorted them into 5 units whose scenes are going around the seasons of the year. A poem connects to another poem through a specific time. The time in those poems brings their own memories, which go beyond the framework of one poem, and it can visit both past and future freely. Memories of the author are connected into someone’s memory, and again, are connected to another one’s memory differently. In that way, memories gradually expand our space and fill it while changing its position little by little. Only this prologue is shown with subtitles. もういちど秋を unit 1
2016年3月の浦和での展示で、試験的に武田（詩）／中根（映像）による「Unit 1」（但し音声無しのバージョン）を公開したが、新たにかみむらの「音」を加えてレコーディングをし、映像も繋ぎ直した新しいバージョン。ここで取り上げた幾つかのモチーフは今後のユニットに繋がっていく。 1-1. 版画論（３）風景 1-2. １日の千の秋 1-3. 掌の森（Ⅱ）森の椅子 1-4. 予め失われた恋人たち 武田多恵子 1-1, 1-3, 1-4 『蜜月』 1-2『流布』より In the exhibition at Urawa in March 2016, I released Unit 1 by Takeda (poetry) / Nakane (video), the experimental version without a voice. 「Unit 2」は物語の展開の場面でもあり、急激に速度を増しながら流れていく章でもある。私も武田の詩について全てを理解できているわけではないし、それは無論不可能だろう。だが映像に於いてその解釈されない部分を解釈されないまま残すのは、ある意味では見る者にとっての自由が残されているわけで、見る者の記憶がそれを補うだろうと思っている。あるいは未解釈とされた部分は別のユニットに接続された時にまた再び語り始めることもあるだろう。 「青い磨り硝子で見ている」 2-1. 四月の魚 2-2. 劣情No.5 - 猫に 2-3. 接吻試論 2-4. 真夜中の動物園 2-5. 函 武田多恵子『流布』より Unit 2 contains scenes of the development of the story, and this is a chapter that story flows rapidly with increasing speed. I do not comprehend every detail of Takeda's poetry - that must be impossible obviously. But leaving uninterpreted parts uninterpretably is in a sense, freedom for viewers' interpretation remains behind and I can imagine that the memories of the viewers may compensate for missing. 「Unit 3」に「会期を終えたばかりの美術館は 九月の海に似ている」という詩の一節があり、海に近い鎌倉の美術館で撮影をさせてもらった。この建物も今年3月に閉鎖され、今はただただ懐かしい。映像では「プロローグ」の終盤と3-3.3-5. に少しだけ登場する。 鷗（カモメ）見ていて飽きない愛おしい生き物だ。いつまでも。 「魔法のとけないシンデレラ 何度死んでも 生きて 鷗に笑われる」 3-1. 海へおいでよ 3-2. 鷗 3-3. 夢の海 '72 3-4. 海の夢 '85 3-5. 麦の耳 武田多恵子『麦の耳』より As there is a passage on Unit 3, "an art museum just after the exhibition ended looks like the sea in September", I took a video at the museum near the sea in Kamakura. The museum closed in March this year, and this brings back memories. In the video, the building appears at the end of "Prologue" and 3-3.3-5. Seagulls are lovely creatures that I do not get tired of watching. Cinderella whose spell was not to be lifted, as no matter how many times she dies and reborn, is laughed by seagulls. 3-1. もういちど秋を unit 4
『もういちど秋を』では、5つのユニット全体をつなぐ「海」あるいは「鳥」などの言葉が重要な要素となっている。「Unit 3」では、「鷗（カモメ）」が詩の一編としての独立した存在を示していたが、それ以外のユニットでも直接／間接を問わず、カメラは自分の内面と重ね合わせるように「鳥」の姿を捕らえている。今回の「Unit 4」では「丹頂鶴」をめぐり物語が展開する。 「Unit 4」は「冬」をテーマに編まれているが、例えば『冬の麦』のように、おそらく武田自身による「麦秋」という言葉から派生させたイメージとして「ゴッホの7月」を描いた概念的な「冬」もその中に含まれる。「Unit 1」で使用した模型の木も再登場。 「私は凍えた耳を燃やして 伝わらなかった言葉の 灰を集めている」 4-1. 掌の森（Ⅲ）雪は踊っている 4-2. 積雪扉 4-3. 冬の麦 武田多恵子 4-1, 4-3『麦の耳』、4-2『流布』より In the "try to remember", terms such as "the sea" or "birds" connecting between five whole units are important. In Unit 3, "seagulls" shows independent existence as a part of poetry. In other sections, directly or indirectly, the camera superimposed on its inner face, and captured the image of "birds". In Unit 4, the story develops about "red-crowned cranes". Unit 4 is woven on the theme of "Winter", like "Winter Wheat" which is Takeda's invention, whose image derived from the Japanese words "Autumn Wheat" or early Summer, conceptual Winter image depicts about Van Gogh's July - when he shot himself, is also included. 『もういちど秋を』最終章。扱われるのは抽象度が高い詩篇だが、詩は新たに読み直され、現在の私たちそれぞれの日常に引きつけて考えるべきだろう。今回のプロジェクトではいろいろな「海」の映像を撮ったが、特に福島の海は忘れられない。あなたも忘れられない「海」や「街」があるだろう。 「糸くずに紛れて 紅に沈むひと日があるなら 夢は夢の場所へ帰るだろう 悲しみは悲しみの場所へ帰るだろう」 そして「もういちど秋を...」。 5-1. ふたつのみみ 5-2. 合歓 5-3. 盗む日（Ⅷ）バイ・バイ・ブラックバード 5-4. 流布 武田多恵子 5-1, 5-3『蜜月』、５-2『麦の耳』、5-4『流布』より The final chapter of the "try to remember". This consists of highly abstracted poetries, but it should be read again and should be realized in each of our present, daily life. In this project, I videoed scenes of various "seas", but the sea in Fukushima is still unforgettable, and you must have unforgettable images of "seas" or "cities" as well.
