Looking for work opportunities in Japan? Keep the following points in mind! (2 mins to read)

You may consider registering with a recruitment agency, especially if you are not confident in your Japanese language level. Below are some pros and cons of job hunting alone or with an agency:

PROS

  • Less workload for you: The agency does the heavy-lifting while you can sit back and wait for options to arise

  • A good chance of being introduced to large-sized companies

  • Proper guidance on actions and preparations for your CV and interviews

CONS

  • Smaller companies (such as startups) with highly appealing positions may be reluctant to hire candidates working with agencies due to additional introduction-costs determined by the agency

  • Companies with a high budget may still be reluctant in hiring candidates working with agencies due to the ongoing introduction fees, occurring whether the candidate is hired or not. This may cause some companies to avoid candidates entirely if they work with an agency

*please confirm with your agencies for actual conditions

There are many companies in Japan excited to welcome talented global recruits, so it is important for you to determine the best way to find a fitting workplace that you can love!

We hope that destiny will bring us together somewhere in the future!
