How about rigid pcb and FPCB
FHE and FPCB
If so ideal, you have the opportunity to speculate why circuits that use these dual capabilities have not yet been designed. Currently, the solution is a universal printed circuit board (FPCB) with processing power and overall flexibility. These types of circuits have been widely used in space-constrained automotive and premium consumer electronics applications, such as cameras. The difference between FPCB and FHE circuits is that the interconnect is not printed, but is etched from the laminated copper board using photolithography technology. Then surface mount components including packaged ICs are soldered to the copper interconnect. The following table summarizes the differences between conventional rigid PCB, FPCB and FHE circuits.
Therefore, if FPCB already exists, why bother FHE? The simplest explanation is usually that not packaging the IC, or using thin silicon chips as an alternative, can make your entire circuit thinner, lighter, and easier to adapt. In fact, attaching the packaged IC to the FPCB usually requires stiffeners to ensure that the attachment points are protected. These strategies introduced challenges in processing and chip mounting methods, which were thoroughly addressed in the report: "Flexible Hybrid Electronics 2020-2030: Purpose, Problems, Improvements, and Forecasts."

Nonetheless, at IDTechEx, we believe that the potential benefits of FHE are much more than that, because it promotes different manufacturing methods and therefore allows new applications. First, as an alternative to etching interconnects, printing can reduce content waste because it is additive, not subtractive. This distinction is particularly useful if the circuit needs to use less wiring to handle larger locations. If printing through digital technologies including inkjet or aerosol, the torque for circuit prototyping will be greatly reduced compared to traditional etching, because there is no need for patterns, design and development masks. Converting this type of conversion into an additional agile and enhanced operation process can greatly reduce the size of the circuit board, and it is cheap, and also helps to customize the circuit.
