5～6月に孵化した雛は、この頃に　飛び方や　狩りの方法を覚え、独り立ちに備えます。

「能ある鷹は爪を隠す」、「鳶が鷹を生む」などの諺が言い表すように、
知能指数が高いことでも知られています。
気高く大空を舞う姿は、古来より尊重され、生態系の頂点の動物とも言われています。

長生きする鷹は70年生きる・
長生きする鷹には40年生きた頃に
